Music saves DJ role and request-channel preferences only. A connected bot does not mean playback is available.
Prepare your preferences
- Open Music’s workspace for a server you manage. Review the bot’s connection separately from feature availability.
- Choose a Request channel preference and DJ role preference for this server.
- Save Music with the app turned off. Its enable control remains unavailable in this release.
Understand what is ready
- An online Music bot is a connection check. It cannot join voice, play tracks, or manage a queue in the current release.
- There are no released playback commands to run. Saving a playlist link or preference does not start an audio session.
- Only preferences can be saved. Player, queue, playlists, radio and voice controls are unavailable.
Commands & controls
Use these controls for the current release inside the relevant Discord server. Discord’s command picker supplies required options; app-specific permissions still apply.
There are no audio playback commands. Use the dashboard to save DJ role and request-channel preferences.
What this app needs and keeps
Discord access
Music’s public invite does not request voice playback permissions. Saving these preferences does not connect to voice or fetch audio.
Stored information
The current release saves configuration preferences only. It does not record listening history, fetch tracks, or collect voice audio.
Only DJ role and request-channel preferences can be saved. Audio playback, voice connections, queues, playlists, radio and media integrations are unavailable. An online connection is not evidence of a working audio player.
Troubleshooting
Music is online but nothing plays
This is expected: playback is not implemented. Connection status does not mean audio is available.
I cannot enable Music
Music does not provide a player. Save preferences with the app off; enabling audio playback is unavailable.
