Configure the required channels, roles, and access before enabling and saving. Saving applies to this app in the selected server.
Set a game channel
- Install Arcade and select Game channel in its workspace.
- Choose a channel members can use and the app can access. Enable Arcade and save.
- Tell members which channel to use. These games do not purchase prizes or grant real-money rewards.
Play the current challenge
- Use /arcade-trivia in the saved game channel. It presents a private arithmetic question with answer buttons.
- Choose one answer within two minutes. Only the member who started the challenge can answer it.
- An unexpired unanswered challenge is reused if you request it again. Answer submission is recorded once.
- Current challenges are arithmetic, not a general-knowledge question library or a multiplayer game. Economy rewards are not connected.
Commands & controls
Use these controls for the current release inside the relevant Discord server. Discord’s command picker supplies required options; app-specific permissions still apply.
/arcade-triviaStart a private two-minute arithmetic challenge.
What this app needs and keeps
Discord access
Members answer their own challenges in the configured game channel. Installing Arcade does not allow arbitrary users to change the server’s game settings.
Stored information
Arcade stores short-lived challenges and aggregate scores. Current challenges expire; their buttons cannot be reused to create repeat scores.
Arcade provides private arithmetic challenges. It does not offer a general knowledge question library, multiplayer tournaments, prize payouts or a public score leaderboard.
Troubleshooting
Arcade asks me to use a different channel
Move to the Game channel saved by the manager. Running the command elsewhere does not start a game.
An answer button no longer works
Check that you started this challenge, have not already answered it, and it has not exceeded its two-minute lifetime. Start another challenge when appropriate.
Still stuck? Check Service Status, then contact private support with the app, server ID, and the error. Never send a password, bot token, or backup code.
